Scan site and neighborhoods Mitropolitan Assembly

About the Project

The Mitropolitan Center of Banat is located on Constantin Diaconovici Loga street. The ensemble consists of a series of buildings with various functions that were built in different periods. The most recent of these is a contemporary addition to an Art-Deco house from 1932. On the occasion of the construction site and to be able to evaluate the further development possibilities of the Mitropolitan ensemble, to define more clearly a landscape intervention concept, but also to evaluate the stage of works in the construction site in progress, it was requested to create an orthophotoplan.

About the Process

Scanning and delivery of the orthophotoplane was completed within a single day. To create the orthophotoplane, pictures were taken from the drone, using a drone flight configuration software (UgCS - Universal Ground Control Software). The drone was set to capture images from a constant distance from the ground (20 m), take into account possible level deviations and fly in a checkered pattern, in two directions, to capture as much detail and information about the subject of the study.
