About the Project
Site assessment of a terrain located on the banks of the Danube in Svinita, Romania.
The purpose ogf this project was to assess the height differences of the terrain in order to see if it is feasible for building a house.
About the Process
We generated the 3D model in Reality Capture combining laser scans made with the terrestrial laser scanner Trible X7 and drone photogrammetry captured by a Parrot Anafi drone. The resulting 3D model was used to create architectural plans of the terrain.

• Field data collection (photos and laser stations): 8 hours
• Number of laser stations: 33
• Number of drone photos: 322
• Data processing (point-cloud, mesh, texture): 5 hours
• Post-processing I - export orthophotoplane and creating architectural plans: 4 hours
